LABORERS – The Village of Malone DPW has two seasonal vacancies for a Laborers.  There are no minimum qualifications required, but some experience in manual labor is desirable. High school diploma or GED preferred.  Ability to perform such duties as mowing, trimming, weeding, cleaning bathrooms, picking up garbage, and performing other related duties as assigned.  Possession of a NYS driver’s license is preferred.  Applications are available at the Village Offices and must be returned by close of business (4:00 PM) on March 27, 2020.   Franklin County Resident.  EOE. 

 

REC PARK

 

LIFEGUARDS – The Malone Rec Park has seasonal vacancies for Lifeguards.  Candidates must submit a copy of the following certifications at the time of application:  possession of a valid American Red Cross (ARC) basic life support  for the professional rescuer CPR certificate; possession of the American Red Cross Water Front Lifeguarding Certificate, and a valid lifeguard training certificate from a certifying agency (such as ARC, Boy Scouts, etc.) acceptable to the State Health Commissioner.   Possession of a NYS Driver’s License is preferred.   Applications are available at the Village Offices and must be returned with certifications by close of business (4:00 PM) March 27, 2020.  EOE – Franklin County Resident.

RECREATION DIRECTORS:  The Malone Rec Park has a seasonal vacancy for two recreation directors.  Minimum qualifications are graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college with an Associates Degree or higher in Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field; or Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two years of experience in conducting recreation activities.  Applications are available at the Village Offices and must be returned by close of business (4:00 PM) on March 27, 2020.   Franklin County Resident.  EOE. 

 

RECREATION MAINTENANCE WORKER:  The Malone Rec Park has a seasonal vacancy for a recreation maintenance worker.  Minimum qualifications are two years of experience in either general building and grounds maintenance work or in one or more of the standard building trades; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Possession of a NYS Driver’s License is preferred.   Applications available at the Village Offices and must be returned by close of business on May 8, 2013.  EOE - Residency waived.

 

RECREATION LEADERThe Malone Rec Park has a seasonal vacancy for a Recreation Leader.  Minimum qualifications are graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and (1) year of experience in conducting recreation activities.  Applications are available at the Village Offices and must be returned by close of business (4:00 PM) on March 27, 2020.  Franklin County Resident.  EOE.
